Hal Polley

Hal has spent more than 30 years as an operating executive, private equity investor, and trusted advisor to clients as a senior professional services executive.  Before joining Market Strategy Group, Hal spent 11 years at Accordion Partners, playing a leading role on the Senior Management Team in growing the firm from 6 to over 1,200 people while partnering with companies large and small to professionalize their operations, turbocharge their growth, and architect and execute powerful value creation strategies.  Prior to Accordion, Hal was CFO at MDx Medical Inc., which was successfully sold to Bain Capital portfolio company Zelis.  He began his career in investment banking at Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette, and went on to private equity investing at the Carlyle Group and later Bessemer Partners before assuming operating roles including General Manager, Head of Corporate Development and Chief Financial Officer.

Hal earned an A.B. from Georgetown University Magna Cum Laude, as well as an MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of business. He lives in San Francisco with his wife and two sons.
