Mike Friduss

Mr. Friduss is a results-oriented senior executive consultant with broad line and staff experience in operations, customer service, engineering, and planning. He is a proven leader with a track record of bottom line results through creative approaches to improved productivity, cost reduction, customer service, and relationship building.

Mr. Friduss consults primarily to the telecommunications industry, including local service carriers, small to medium sized companies that supply hardware, software, and systems to those service providers, and government bodies responsible for regulating the telecommunications industry.  He focuses on strategic planning, customer service, operations, and supplier management, and works primarily with C-level executives, both coaching and providing oversight to improvement efforts. He also serves as an “executive client” for Accenture Learning and as an independent director of The Oakmark Funds (mutual funds).

Before entering consulting, Mr. Friduss spent a distinguished career in senior executive positions at Ameritech and Bell System companies. At Ameritech he was responsible for the strategic and tactical direction of customer service and operations for the entire company, as well as for planning, building, and maintaining high quality and efficient information technology systems.  At Michigan Bell, he served as Chief Operating Officer and member of the Board of Directors with full responsibility for operations and sales, including 11,000 employees and expenditures in excess of $1 billion. Earlier he held senior positions at both Michigan Bell and Illinois Bell.
